This place had been one of the earliest reviews(review here) of this blog when I started which wasn’t too long ago. There are now new items being introduced to their menu. For those reading about this place for the first time, its a very homey style cooking which reminds me of back home in Penang where my grandma would cook this dishes as well.

For one of our usual hunt for food, this time round Ken and I decided to look for the highly recommended roti canai in Jalan Semarak KL called Valentine Roti. It is located just across Menara Celcom although you could easily miss it if Menara Celcom is on your left since the flow of traffic bends just right in front of this shop.
A romantic name but I wonder how many people had their valentine [...]

Chi Ka Yin located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong is a restaurant that aims to provide home cooked style Hakka dishes and the ambiance of home dinning experience. The name reflects perfectly what it aims to do which is relative or own people/ family when directly translated from Hakka Chinese dialect as I’m told.

Just opened a few months back, Mum’s Seafood Noodle House offers food lovers home style cooked food. Tucked away in The Strand, Kota Damansara (a fairly new commercial development) finding this hidden gem isn’t so difficult since it has a rather famous nyonya restaurant (The Wok) neighbour located a few shoplots away.
