Chi Ka Yin located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong is a restaurant that aims to provide home cooked style Hakka dishes and the ambiance of home dinning experience. The name reflects perfectly what it aims to do which is relative or own people/ family when directly translated from Hakka Chinese dialect as I’m told.

It was raining very heavily that day and I couldn’t ask for a better meal than a nice hot bowl of porridge. Seemed very appropriate on a cold rainy day.
Reading from some of the articles adorned on their wall, this business was started 30 years ago by the parents of the current owners, the Lee siblings.

Just opened a few months back, Mum’s Seafood Noodle House offers food lovers home style cooked food. Tucked away in The Strand, Kota Damansara (a fairly new commercial development) finding this hidden gem isn’t so difficult since it has a rather famous nyonya restaurant (The Wok) neighbour located a few shoplots away.
